Abstract

The project aimed on the development of the Region of Ionian Islands, focusing on the provision of innovative ICT services for the tourism business sector (provision of new type of services, innovative promotion of the tourism product, support of innovative business ideas)

Main objectives

• To blend digital services with traditional services of tourism sector.
• To improve the current state of business reality.
• To create new services and innovative start-ups in tourism, cultural and agricultural sector.
• The protection of the rural environment.
• The reinforcement of regional actors towards the improved decision-making and risk management.
• The regional support for innovative actions.
• The provision of information about regional innovative status and to transfer best practices from relevant regions.
