Deadline Extension for Submission of Applications for the Ideas Competition within the framework of the European project PREBIODUNES – Interreg ADRION

Deadline Extension for the Call for Ideas for pilot actions aimed at the restoration of dune habitats, within the framework of the European project PREBIODUNES – Interreg ADRION, organized by the Polytechnic University of Bari (POLIBA) – DICATECh Department.

In particular, the competition is about the design of pilot actions for the recovery and restoration of degraded dune habitats, aimed at protecting their biodiversity from tourism pressures, in five pilot areas of PREBIODUNES Project.

• ITALY – Lido Conchiglie – Gallipoli
• GREECE – Preveza Costal area - Municipality of Prevesa
• BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA – Klek Peninsula
• MONTENEGRO – Velika Plaza - Ulcinj
• ALBANIA – Dune Spille - Kavaje

The ideas competition concerns the development of a conceptual proposal for restoration and protection of coastal dunes in the pilot areas involved in the project.

Candidate proposals must be written in English

Who can apply:

Students, graduates and PhD candidates in the fields of Civil Engineering, Architecture, Biology, Agriculture, Chemistry or related disciplines from the participating countries (Italy, Greece, Albania, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia).

Prize: €500.00 for the winners of each pilot area.

Submission of applications: until 22 November 2025, following the procedures indicated in the official call.
