ΣΥΝΤΟΜΗ ΠΕΡΙΓΡΑΦΗ
Within the Regions of Western Greece, Ionian Islands, Epirus from Greece and Apuglia from Italy, there are huge cultural and natural assets that can contribute to boost their economic growth and improve people's quality of life. Cross-border economic development has many facets: corporate partnerships, exports or provision of services on the other side of the border, bi-location, subcontracting relationships, inter-clustering, etc.
"Creative Industries (CI)" are among the most dynamic sectors in the world economy providing new opportunities for developing countries to leapfrog into emerging high-growth areas of the world economy. The creative industries – which include advertising, marketing, architecture, arts and crafts, design, fashion, film, video, photography, music, performing arts, publishing, research ΚΑΙamp; development, software, computer games, electronic publishing, and TV/radio – are the lifeblood of the creative economy. They are also considered an important source of commercial and cultural value.
The project partnership will implement a mechanism of enhanced synergy between creative enterprises and policy makers, in order to strengthen the capacity of the regions to create new knowledge and innovation. Project activities will include: Establishment of a group of “Creative Hubs” to support Creative industries in the targteted regions, development and application of a set of e-tools for the Hubs and organization of training and support pilot activities.
The project «CREATIVE@HUBs» has a total budget of € 10,000,000.00
