Kick-off Meeting of project egov_INNO
Western Greece and Puglia join forces to deliver services to SMEs
Patras, July 10-11 2018
The kick-off meeting of the project “egov_INNO – E-government services and tools from regional governments and regional development bodies to support and coordinate the regional research and innovation capital”, funded for 722.208,14€ by INTERREG V-A Greece-Italy Programme 2014 – 2020, will be held in Patras on 10-11 July 2018, Regional Council Hall.
The Lead beneficiary is the Regional Development Fund of Region of Western Greece, while the project partners are: Computer Technology Institute and Press “Diophantus”, Innova Puglia S.P.A. and Apulia Region.
The project aims to deliver effective and feasible G2B e-government applications tailored to the needs of the participating regions leading to better governance and faster delivery of services to the local private sector.
The project is expected to enhance significantly the market intelligence on both territories by promoting tools and platforms for joint cross-border initiatives & increase the capacity of businesses and innovation stakeholders to utilize the available innovation support services and clusters/networks.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------Interreg V-A Greece-Italy Programme is an European Territorial Cooperation Programme that aims to help public institutions and local stakeholders to develop cross-border projects and pilot actions and to create new policy, products and services, with the final goal to improve the citizens’ quality of life. Strategically, the programme will enhance innovation in a number of fields such as blue growth, tourism and culture, agro food and cultural and creative industries. Interreg V-A Greece-Italy Programme aims to get maximum return from EUR 123 million financed per 85% by European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and per 15% by the 2 member states through a national co-financing.
